Rhonda Stowe

Rhonda and her family moved to Klein 35 years ago because of the reputation of the district. As her kids began elementary school she decided to join them and become a teacher there. Now, 30 years later, she is still serving the students at Greenwood Forest Elementary. Through the years, Rhonda has always felt that #KleinFamily feeling and would not want to be anywhere else!

Lee Baker

Lee has been part of the #KleinFamily since he was 3 years old when his dad became the soccer coach at Klein High School. Lee met his wife when he was a student at Klein High, and now they are raising all three of their kids in Klein. Lee and his brother opened uScore Soccer right in the heart of Klein to give back to the community that gave so much to his family.

Coming Home

Six former Klein Forest students return as football coaches to positively impact the community that helped raise them. Their fondest memories at Klein Forest are playing football, and now coaching these boys is like being back home. It’s not about the wins or losses, it’s about the joy they see in their student-athletes when they are on the field.

Sharon Krenek

Sharon is a retired Klein ISD teacher who always made her first-graders feel loved. She would keep in touch with her former students as they made their way through intermediate and high school and when they graduated she would give them a special gift.

Lyle Lovett

As a Klein High Class of 1975 Graduate, Lyle remembers walking through the lunch line and seeing a picture of his mom’s graduating class – class of 1945! Lyle is proud of the tradition of excellence in academics as well as the arts and contributes much of his success to his time here in Klein ISD.

Dr. Jim Cain

Dr. Jim Cain started his career in the #KleinFamily as an Assistant Principal at Benfer Elementary in 1978. He went on to become Klein ISD Superintendent before retiring in 2016. Jim is very proud and honored to have Klein Cain High School named after his family.

Jody Cekella

Jody started caring for students at Benfer Elementary 24 years ago and is currently the longest-serving Nurse in Klein ISD. Jody knows the importance of having an RN on every campus and is proud to be part of the health services department.

Ezekiel Adekolu

Zeke grew up in foster care and met Klein High Counselor Katy Keener when he was a Freshman. Katy took the time to get to know him and encourage him to pursue his dreams of going to college. Today, 10 years later, Zeke credits Katy with helping him become the man he is today.

Butch Theiss

Edwin G. Theiss, affectionately known as Butch, has seen Klein grow from a small farming community to a large suburban destination for families and businesses alike. Butch joined us to tell his story in the historic Kohrville schoolhouse, one of the first school buildings in Klein ISD and one of the last still standing.
